Software Tester/QA

Job Description:

Performs complex testing tasks and assist product developers and technical support specialist in solution of complex installations problems.
Required Skills:
4+ years experience as working in QA/Testing environment.
Familiarity and experience required for the following technology environments, languages and platforms.
Microsoft Windows-2000 advanced server/Terminal Server, Windows NT 4.0
Microsoft Visual Studio
Microsoft ASP
Microsoft IIS
Microsoft SQL server
Java/Java beans/Java Scripting Environment a plus
Mercury, Segue or equivalent testing platforms
Example: Web runner, Win runner, Load runner
Objects/Protocols
MS COM/COM+/DCOM
XML
Winsock-API
MS ActiveX Components
SSL

Responsibilities:

Responsibilities include an extremely strong understanding of application design, testing, and implementation processes, with hands on knowledge of systems and component interactions. Experienced development for load balanced + redundant environment. Intimate involvement with pre-release testing procedures and live post release “bug” identification fixed procedures.

Experience Required:
4+ years in software testing
Bachelor of Science in Computer Science
Possess creative problem fixing skills
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work effectively with project development team and end-user customers.
Experience in VB/SQL programming
